Back in June, we introduced a way to get form information from your website directly into Mailroom. And, the world rejoiced.
But, it wasn’t complete with out the ability to add attachments to those posts AND have it submit directly into Mailroom. The wait is over.
Today, we added the ability for form posts to include attachments. This will come in very handy if you:
- run a support site and offer customers the ability to upload a screen shot
- have an e-commerce store and a user wants to send you a picture of exactly what they are looking for
- a sales order form is accompanied with a signature (an alternative to a fax)
But, I am sure there are many other instances that I have left out.
If you happen to have the technical know-how to change the form’s HTML to allow for attachments, we took the liberty of outlining the mark up and what you need to do, here. Once you get there, scroll to the bottom and you will find form-attachement-html utopia.
