Turn on API Access in Basecamp
As the primary account holder, login to your Basecamp account. Then click on the Account tab on the top right corner of the screen.
Scroll down until you see the Basecamp API section of the page. Simply check the terms of service box, and then enable the API for your account.
Enter Account Information in Mailroom
Once you login to your Mailroom account, just go to the Preferences section, and click on the Mailroom tab on the left. You will see a tab for Basecamp at the top. Simply enter in the Basecamp account URL and the account holder’s username and password. Voila! It is working.
