Follow these 8 simple steps and you will have PayPal support in your Mailroom account. It will show you how many times someone has purchased from you, since when, and for how much. Note: you must complete steps 1 through 7 before entering your email address in Mailroom for it to work.
Step 1: Login to your PayPal account. You can link to the PayPal page by clicking here. (this will open a new window so you can keep the instructions handy).
Step 2: In the menu bar, click on the “Profile” link.

Step 3: Under the Account Information column, click on the “API Access” link.

Step 4: Click on the “Grant API Permission” link.

Step 5: Type paypal_api1.sproutit.com into the API account username blank. Then check the box for “Reporting and Backoffice APIs.” This will ensure limited API access to Sproutit.

Step 6: Click the “Submit” button.

Step 7: Confirm this by clicking the “Give Permission” button.

Step 8: Return to the preferences section of Mailroom under the Account tab, under PayPal. Enter your email address that is attached to your PayPal account. Then click the “Connect to PayPal” button.
